Editorial standards

A reader should be able to tell which statements come from documentation, which are our reasoning and which are examples. These are the standards used for the site's tools and articles.

Publisher and responsibility

YTGrid is the publishing identity for this site. Older articles use the collective label “YTGrid Editorial Desk.” That label does not establish a particular professional qualification or a separately verified team biography. Questions and corrections can be sent through the contact page.

Three kinds of material

Sources and uncertainty

Sources should support the claim beside them. Linking to YouTube documentation does not make every recommendation in an article an official YouTube recommendation. Public videos also cannot establish private click-through rates or retention figures for someone else's channel.

The September 2026 revision adds source notes to the earlier Creator Desk articles and corrects specific metric and product claims. Original publication dates have been retained; substantive revisions carry a separate update date. A review date does not mean that every historical statement has been independently replicated.

AI and software assistance

The September 2026 tools and workflow guides were developed with AI assistance. Generated suggestions are not independent evidence. The new guides identify their fictional examples and link platform claims to primary sources. The publisher remains responsible for checking material before it is published and for correcting errors that are reported.

The browser tools do not send your notes to an AI model. If you copy material into another service, its own data practices apply.

Money, performance and policy topics

Commercial articles are planning frameworks, not surveys of market rates or individual legal, tax or investment advice. Metrics must be defined with their denominator and scope. A worked calculation is not a revenue forecast. No tool or article here guarantees views, monetisation or AdSense approval.

Advertising and relationships

The current version of the site does not load an AdSense advertising script. YouTube may display advertising inside its own player. If site advertising is enabled later, its placement and data disclosures need to match the actual implementation.

Paid placements and affiliate relationships, if introduced, should be disclosed where the recommendation appears. The tools linked within our articles are YTGrid's own free tools.

Corrections and maintenance

Send the page URL, the specific statement or tool behavior, and supporting evidence to the site contact. Do not include account passwords, authentication tokens or private analytics you do not want to share. Material corrections should identify what changed and use a real modification date; routine typo fixes do not require a new publication date.

See the release notes for substantive tool and documentation changes, and the privacy policy for data handling.
